So we had a unique and fabulous time at Dunhams in February this year - what a terrific place! We loved swimming from the jetty and meeting the turtles face to face and we plan to come back and paddle board leisurely around the lagoon, maybe as far as the bar at Fare Bleu for a rum punch.
A gentle breeze blowing across the lagoon and into our room kept us comfortable overnight and waking up to the sun shining through the huge doors onto the veranda felt like paradise. It was a short step from the bed to the hammock for a morning cup of tea.
The veranda is the heart of the house, shady and cooled by the breeze and the meeting point for every meal. All the rooms are generously proportioned and the huge, well equipped kitchen space allows the guests to all join in with cooking and socialising.
Such an unusual looking house but so easy to live and relax in - take your camera onto the grassy roof to get an unforgettable view of the lagoon before you leave.
Visit Fare Bleu to stroll past the visiting yachts, take a swim in their pool and dont forget to try their rum punches.
